Dr Fever
I just realized i had listed my favorite tag teams and who i thought were the five greatest of all time..but not MY PERSONAL fav wrestlers..so, i will now. 1)Triple H (soon, he'll be back soon) 2)Edge 3)RVD 4)Chris Jericho 5)*tie*Kurt Angle and Shane McMahon. There you have it.

Dr Fever
The Doc's Favorite Tag Teams of all time: 5)The Rock and Sock Connection (my GOD they were hilarious..wrestlings Odd Couple) 4)Edge and Christian (the fightenest WWF Tag Champs of all time and they totally reeked of awesomeness). 3)RVD and SABU (watch the Heatwave 98 PPV and you'll understand) 2)ECW version of the Dudley Boyz (there was this one time on PPV in Dayton that I thought the crowd was going to lynch them..plus, i'd never heard 'fuck' used on the mic quite that beautifully. Also, they had Joel Gertner as their personal ring announcer! How can you go wrong?) 1)Triple H and Shawn Micheals (formed the ORIGINAL (*and BEST*) version of DX-the main reason I got back to heavy viewing of wrestling, well that and a specific moment involving SSCA, the Hart Foundation and a few others..but, none the less, this team is the BIGGEST reason I got back to heavy involement with wrestling after being brought back into the fold by my boy Aaron aka HBK). Kerry Von Erich..now there was a good performer. tragic I tell ya. And, yes, I remember WHO (vaguely), but who among you knows who the Jynx Brothers are? better yet, do you know who they are NOW? (let's put it this way..they are a REALLY over tag team right now that I despise)

Dr Fever
best wrestlers..ever. 1)Shawn Micheals (the Icon indeed!) 2)ric flair (very few could ever be 'the man' cause very few could beat 'the man' WHOOO!) 3)Triple H (yeah, he's abused his 'power' backstage, but you tell me one person in the buisness now who has the ability-both in the ring and on the mic-to rival Trips.) 4)Bret Hart (say what you will..but the man was GOOD) 5)Mick Foley (among the many reasons he makes this list, few humans could survive the punishment this man has inflicted on HIMSELF).

Dr Fever
There used to be this great website called "wrestlecrap.com" that kept a running gallery of the worst gimmicks in wrestling history. But, sadly, it shut down earlier this year do to a lack of funds to pay for the servers. Trust me, this site provided some of the most humorous commentary on shitty gimmicks you'll ever hear/see/read..it had me laughing out loud on more than one occasion. As far as the Shockmaster goes..yeah..that was pretty lame. But, who remembers "The Yeti"?

Dr Fever
What about Bastion Booger? that's what I WANT TO KNOW! hahahaha.

Dr Fever
I remember watching that match..oh god it was GREAT! the ultimate warrior..now, there was a guy who could entertain a crowd.

Dr Fever
You're right Mosh..you can erase slipknot's name and write in hundreds of other names. As far as me 'shooting myself in the foot', i don't think i did, i was just responding to Max's comments below about my generalization of slipknot fans in the past...a faux pas on my part perhaps. And, BK, you're right...how could i forget New Jack. this guy went to prision..got hooked on hard drugs..then cleaned his act up and went out to do nothing more than entertain. and, boy did he ever do that. Damn fine entertainer. not much of a 'wrestler', but an entertainer none the less...and, as far as my list of injuries from my earlier post goes..well..i mentioned Mick "God" Foley losing half an ear in a match..but hell, you can add any number of his accomplishment (so to speak) to that list...the hell in a cell match with undertaker (if you don't know..then find out..sheesh), his i quit match with the rock (15 chair shots..give or take..in a row. no blocking what so ever.)...the man is a testament to why we should respect these men and women as athletes. Ok..that's enough from me for now. later.

Dr Fever
First, Max, I never called slipknot fans 'fags'. I mean, hell, some of my good friends are slipknot fans..sure, i pigeon hole a lot of the typical fans, but even you gotta admit, the people i'm talking about (my definition of a typical slipknot fan) really are just mindless, blind sheep who will follow trends (in music and other areas) from now until the day they fucking die because they don't know how to think for themselves. Granted, there are some 'real' fans of slipknot, etc out there and that's fine and damn dandy, more power to ya as far as i'm concerned..but, that doesn't mean i'm going to a)change my opinions and b) listen to and/or like the music. NOW, as far as the WWF being a fake soap opera..well, shit, i've been saying that for years. YES it is a soap opera and YES the outcomes are pre-determined. But, so what? To brush off wrestling as 'fake' is, well, dumb. Ask Triple H how 'fake' it is (remember..he completely severed a quadricep participating in a FAKE match)..ask Mick Foley how FAKE it is (he lost half of one of his ears in a 'fake' match)...ask Steve Austin how 'fake' wrestling is (he almost lost his ability to walk for ever because of a botched pile driver during a 'fake' match)..ask Rob Van Dam how 'fake' it is (he broke his ANKLE in the early moments of a 'fake' match, and ended up wrestling for another 30 or so minutes on said broken ankle)..shit, ask Owen Hart how 'fake' it is (he's dead of course..died right before one of these 'fake' wrestling matches. RIP Owen). See my point yet? Yes, the outcomes are already determined, but these men and women put there bodies through a living hell 300 or so nights a YEAR and don't complain about it. Shit, i complain when I have to sit behind the register at the record store with a headache. So, i'm just saying, you don't have to like wrestling..or watch wrestling..but at least give credit where credit is due and recognize the fact that these men and women are indeed athletes. But, to quote Dennis Miller, that's just my opinion I could be wrong.

Dr Fever
???

Dr Fever
Well, Gene, you're living proof to never underestimate the power of stupidity. I weep for the future of this country.

Dr Fever
Ya know Gene, you're the one who sounds like the redneck there pal. Assuming that everyone who likes something you don't is an inbred redneck is a little fucking stupid. Also, assuming that I'm unemployed (i was the 'clown' who cracked on you working at the mall there numbnuts) is also baseless. Hell, i'm at work right now typing this you ignorant fuck. (i have two jobs by the way, not that this matter to someone of your obvious intelligence). So, next time you want to run off at the mouth bucko, just think before you speak.

Dr Fever
well, that explains a lot..you work in a mall. numbnuts.

Dr Fever
Gene..obviously you've had your head up your ass long enough to lose perspective. You generatlizations are broad and baseless. You need to just shut the fuck up. thank you drive through.

Dr Fever
I must admit that I love the hell out of wrestling still. What? I'm not the biggest fan of Austin, What? I'm not the biggest fan of Austin but I still think he's funny. The Rock makes me snicker. Chris Jericho is fantastic. What? GORE GORE GORE!! What? Edge and Christian may no longer be a tag team but they still reek of awesomeness and are still the fightenest WWF Tag team champs of all time. What? Kurt Angle is my Olympic hero and always will be. What? Shane McMahon is probably the best athelete in the federation. What? And Triple H is the MAN. But, I DO miss the old days..where the actual wrestling was the focus. but, i guess it's still all entertainment. What?

Dr Fever
Jeff, SubX..see, antiMUSIC is more than a MUSIC site, it's an ENTERTAINMENT site. And, millions of people are ENTERTAINED by wrestling. Hence, the reason for this months rant. ALSO, seeing as how you wanna split hairs; there is a part of this rant that is about MUSIC. Remember gentlemen, those who pay attention are rewarded.

Dr Fever
well aG, i'm aware that Dime is a huge supporter of Drowning Pool and that's the part that gets me. Oh well, i'll give 'em this much, at least they're not Crazytown. Also, I knew about the WWF record label..i just couldn't remember for sure what it was called so that's why i didn't mention it by name in the rant. but, thankya for the reminder.

Dr Fever
Hope you all enjoy this one. And, to anyone who tries to ghostpost, you might as well not even try. :) thank you drive through.
