Battle for Ozzfest
Has anyone seen this ass crack of a reality
show? I was flipping through my TV guide one night and decided to watch
it when it came on. At first I thought, hey this is great Ozzy is going
to give some unsigned band a shot into being heard. My opinion of this
show changed very quickly
First off, I would like to say that I am
a huge fan of Ozzy, going back to being a kid. I had the chance a few years
ago to catch Black Sabbath in concert and I thought it was the greatest
thing ever. I also watched the Osbournes a few times and thought it was
a funny show, but I was not interested enough to watch it on a regular
basis.
Now with all that being said, the Battle
for Ozzfest show is 100% pure garbage. Ozzy, you cannot think for one
minute that any band on this show is good. They played a short clip
of each band and their music and it was total garbage. In fact, it
was like a never ending horrible song boring overused guitar riffs and
that growling screaming crap. Talent was something that was highly
lacking in this show. Who picked these bands, one of your kids?
Hey, If anyone in your family knows about not having talent, its one of
them. In any case, all they found was a group of tattooed white trash
rebels that are only good for what they will do to get into Ozzfest.
While they were going through each of these
ass clowns, my favorite one is the Mild mannered lawyer by day, heavy
metal superhero by night. Uh yeah wait, theres more When the sun goes
down, the suit and tie comes off and the spiked hair and cat's eye contact
lenses appear. That was as quoted from the MTV website. I always
wondered what the exact formula was for becoming a heavy metal superhero.
One part spiked hair, two parts cats eye contacts, and a big can of idiot
Attention people on Battle for Ozzfest
enjoy your short time in the spotlight and do not quit your day job. Yet,
I guess if Ruben Studdard can have a career in music just because he was
on TV, you have a good chance also. Personally, I think they could
have given the people from Jackass a bunch of instruments and it would
have made for an overall better show. The Jackass guys will definitely
stoop to more lows than any of those morons on Battle for Ozzfest and
they could probably produce about the same quality of music.

Ok, first I've never heard "cynder" but ADF rules. Being able to scream and sing that well is really just about a one in a million thing. I don't care what anyone says if someone's got that kind of skill they should use it. It's fast as hell, and very dynamic. BTW WTF are talking about with repedative riffs?? Those are far from repedative, if anything those guys were all over the place...

I personally think Cynder should have won. ADF sounds a little too much like Atreyu, I mean don't get me wrong Atreyu is one of my favorite bands.. but Cynder has their own unique sound.. and over all just better. But no-worrys, Just for Cynder being on the show.. their bound to get recognized. And they already have like 2 albums out. Oh and by the way, Cynder changed their group name to Curse Your Name or (CYN) for all those people who want to keep track on them.

Cynder and A Thousand Furies were both awesome bands i wouldnt mind having both of their cds. and who ever wrote that about the battle for ozzfest being a sucky show is a dumbass or just isnt up to date on music.

A dozen Furies is good, but as far as the vocals for that band. they sound kinda of punk. Cynder has catchier vocals and he is more versitile. Cynder deserves to win.

Marc and Adair are very talented and should win. Chelsea is good considering she hasn't played bass that long. Ahmad he's good, but doesn't have much respect and shouldn't win until he learns how to respect and be glad he is there. You know all of the people whom have hated on the people on the show, f*** off, atleast the people on the show made it and are doing something with there dreams. Look at you, all you can do is hate, and be mad because you aren't in their shoes. Grow up. The show is great and I hope it continues. I will see you all at Ozzfest 2005.

Why do you continue to write? The guys from Jackass could write better and produce the same interesting statements. Ruben has no career... and Clay Aiken must be scraping by, prolly has to pick up a part time job jsut to pay the bills. pff
