Important!  Some of these searches are of FTP listings. You will need a FTP program to log into those sites to download the files. 
A good shareware FTP program is WS_FTP you can download it here.

Once you have an FTP Program. You need to cut and paste the links from the search results into your ftp connection screen. 

The Link will look similar to the one below. 
 

ftp://user1:passw@some.ftpsite.com/singles/S/Songs

user1	passw	some.ftpsite.com	/singles/S/Songs
this is the username field	this is the pass word	everything between the @ and the / is the ftp url. you may need to add ftp. before this address for this address you would use  ftp.some.ftpsite.com	This is your remote starting directory.

 
If you use WS_FTP here is how you add the mp3 site to the program 

Open the program

Select Connection

Then Select New 

Then paste the the ftp site url  remember it is everything between the @ and the first /  from the search results links. 

It should look like  ftp.the sitename.com  (may also be net or org)

Then click next  

Select a name (just leave it with the ftp site name) Select next

Type in the user name  (this is between the ftp:// and the : in your url)

Type in the Password (this is between the : and the @ in your url)

select save password. 

then click finish.

your new site will be highlighted in the selection window, press ok and it will connect.  When you see the folder listings you know you have connected successfully. 

Important! A lot of ftp sites have user limits. So if you get a message saying user limit reached. Try connecting again later.  

Also once connected to the ftp site make sure that you read any readme type messages there. Double click on the file name and it will open up for you to read. 

Some sites have ratio's. That means they want you to upload a song before you can download one. 

If the site ask you to jump through hoops to get a working password by visiting a bunch of banner sites, DON' T Bother. Most of these sites are scams, and contain no files. 

Finally you may have to try a few sites before you find what you are after, but hang in there, the search can be a lot of fun!
