Godsmack’s third album “Faceless” sold 267,000 copies this past week and will debut at No. 1 on the charts. This marks the first time Godsmack has landed at No. 1. Ironically, first week sales of this album are only slightly higher than the group’s last effort “Awake”. 

Linkin Park got bumped down to the No. 2 spot with sales of 186,000 copies this past week. 50 Cent’s landed at No. 3, moving 159,000 copies of “Get Rich or Die Tryin’”. Lisa Marie Presley rounded out the Top 5 with her debut album, “To Whom It May Concern,” with sales of 142,000 copies for the daughter of the King. 

Will Godsmack remain in the top spot for two weeks in a row?  Many doubt that since Fleetwood Mac released their highly anticipated new studio album, “Say You Will,” this week that is predicted to shoot straight to the top.
