Metallica Plan Free Shows.

Metallica will give their hometown fans a
special treat next month with four free shows at the Fillmore Theater in
San Franscisco on May 18, 19, 21, and 22.
The catch is you have to win tickets to
attend. Members of the groups online fan club The MetClub can enter
the contest and some San Fransisco area radio stations will also be giving
away tickets.
MetClub members will have until the 29th
to enter for their chance to win and winners will be notified the following
day by email.
In other Metallica news:
The groups new album St. Anger will
hit stores on June 10th. Early presses of the disc will include a
bonus DVD that will feature live performances of the albums 11 tracks.
Before then MTV will honor the group with
a televised mtvICON special. The event takes place on May 3rd and will
hit the airwaves on May 6th. Apart for the new Metallica line-up that includes
Robert Trujillo on bass, Limp Bizkit, Avril Lavigne, Korn and Sum 41 are
scheduled to perform.
