The charges will give specific details about allegations against Jackson, which are said to involve a cancer-stricken boy who slept over several times at Jacksons Neverland Ranch and appeared with the pop singer in the controversial documentary aired by ABC in February.
Santa Barbara County District Attorney Thomas Sneddon did not comment on the specific charges that are to filed against Jackson, however former Santa Barbara County Sheriff Jim Thomas, has discussed the case with Sneddon and says that the charges would accuse Jackson of molesting the boy numerous times over a period of more than a month.
Jackson surrendered to authorities on November 20th and was released on $3 million bail. The DA postponed the formal filing of the charges so that the county could set up a special website for the press where they can go to gather information on the case. That website went online on Monday is available to members of the media only.
It was the press onslaught that supposedly motivated the DAs office to hire a public relations firm to help with media inquires. Sneddons office released a statement announcing the hiring of Los Angeles-based public relations firm Tellem Worldwide, to "reduce the number of calls coming into the District Attorney's office at this busy time."
