Although Helmet frontman Page Hamilton was instrumental in putting the retrospective together, it appears that his focus is on a new project these days. Billboard reports that Hamilton has signed a deal with Interscope for a new project that also includes former Helmet guitarist Chris Traynor. 

The release of the debut is expected in May or June and a spokesperson for Hamilton told Billboard that it will likely be followed by an expensive tour. 

The as yet unnamed group has previously collaborated with Bush frontman Gavin Rossdale for music on his debut solo album. 

Hamilton may have been pretty quite over the past few years but it appears we will be hearing a lot from him in 2004.
