3 Doors Down video for the single When Im
Gone is currently enjoying a second win as the US and British troops fighter
a war in Iraq.
Last December 3 Doors Down went on a goodwill
tour of U.S. military bases in Europe and the Middle East to perform for
American solders, sailors and Marines.
The band chronicled that tour in their
video for the song When Im Gone. When the inevitable war broke
out in Iraq the video quickly jumped to no. 1 on VH1 and MTV.
Many thought the song had run its course
as the band just released the second single from their sophomore album,
a song called "The Road I'm On". But now When Im Gone is back in the
forefront and appears to be beating out the large pool of anti-war songs
that have been unleashed over the past few weeks by artists like Zack De
La Rocha, System of a Down, and George Michaels.
