Robert De Niros publicist announced today
that the Oscar winning actor is fighting cancer. Doctors diagnosed De Niro
with prostate cancer. The cancer was discovered during a regular medical
check up. The 60-year-old actor is expected to make a full recovery.
"Doctors say the condition was detected
at an early stage because of regular checkups, a result of his proactive
personal healthcare program," reads the statement.
