According to Variety, Kilborn broke the news to CBS on Thursday that he was not interested in signing up to continue the show, despite the �generous� new contract CBS had offered him. Kilborn told Variety that hosting the show was "easily the greatest job", but he wants to pursue other projects.
Kilborn will reportedly focus his energies on writing and producing television projects he has wanted to pursue but wasn�t able to because of the demanding schedule involved in producing the �Late, Late Show�. .
