antiTainment NEWS: Spider-Man Continues To Rule the Box Office

�Spider-Man 2� came out swinging again this week and easily won the box office. The film grossed an estimated $46 million this weekend, which propels the 12 day gross to over $257 million.  Not even the comic power of Will Ferrell could beat the superhero. 

Ferrell�s new film, "Anchorman: The Legend of Ron Burgundy" debuted this weekend and secured the No. 2 spot with an estimated gross of $28 million.  The critically panned epic �King Arthur,� was a distant third with $15.2 million. While Michael Moore�s controversial �Fahrenheit 9/11� dropped two places to 4th with a estimated gross of $11 million. 

The top five was rounded out by �The Notebook�, which brought in an estimated $6.53 million for its second weekend, just nudging �White Chicks� into 6th place with $6.5 million.  The only other Top 10 debut this weekend went to �Sleepover� which squeaked into 10th place with $4.2 million.
