The Cure Plan Summer Festival Tour

The Cure are indeed back. The thrilled the
masses at Coachella and now they are getting ready to take their very own
festival tour on the road. The outing has been dubbed The Curiosa Festival
2004, and will feature two stages of music, according to MTV. The main
stage will be headlined by The Cure (natch) with supporting performances
by Interpol, the Rapture and Mogwai. The second stage will play host to
a rotating line-up including Muse, Thursday, Cursive, Melissa Auf Der Maur,
Cooper Temple Clause and Head Automatica.
The festival tour is set to kick off on
July 24th in West Palm Beach, and concluded on August 27th in Los Angeles.
A bands spokes person leaked a number of dates and cities to MTV, with
venue information and more dates expected to be added before a formal announcement
is made.
