Jackson�s lawyers claim that the prosecution has not yet given the defense all evidence in the case, under the discovery rules, and therefore a trial date could not be set.
The embattled star did not appear in court
yesterday when the trial was set, but Judge Rodney Melville did hear a
defense motion to lower Jackson�s $3 million bail. The judge delayed ruling
on motion.
