Jamie Foxx's portrayal as Ray Charles in "Ray" held on to the No 2 spot for a second week, earning an additional $13.8 million this weekend for a 10 day gross of $39.8 million.
"The Incredibles" delegated "The Grudge" which held the top of the box office for the past two weeks, to No 3 this weekend with an estimated gross of $13.5 million ($89.6 million to date).
Another horror film grabbed the No 4 spot this weekend, "Saw" earned $11.4 million at the box office this weekend. The top 5 was rounded out with the debut of "Alfie". The Jude Law remake of the 60s classic only brought in $6.5 million for its opening weekend.
