(antiTainment) Actress Catherine Zeta-Jones
filed a lawsuit against a Reno strip club for unauthorized use of her image
in the club's online promotions. In the lawsuit, Zeta-Jones charges
that The Spice House used her image along with "partially nude women engaged
in various sexually explicit poses."
The owner of the club, Ken Wallace, told
Reuters that the club's web designer obtained the photograph from a "royalty
free" website and that they did not recognize the Academy Award winning
actress when they put the promotional photo together. Wallace said that
they immediately removed the photograph after being contacted by Zeta-Jone's
attorney last October.
Zeta-Jones is seeking $75,000 in damages.
