Godsmack Movie in Theatres One Night Only
09-08-04
.
(antiMUSIC) On September 13th, hard rock fans can get a big screen taste of what it’s like to be on tour with Godsmack, one of today’s top-selling bands, in a special One Night Only™ presentation of the new live concert film Changes at 50 Regal Entertainment Group movie theatres across the country.

The exclusive in-theatre premiere, presented by Regal CineMediaSM (RCM) entertainment services, Coming Home Studios, SRS Labs, AEG Live and AEG TV, will premiere in select Regal Cinemas, United Artists Theatres and Edwards Theatres* nationwide on September 13th at 7:30 p.m. local time.  Advance tickets are available for $12.50 at participating box offices or online at www.regalcm.com.  Event day tickets will also be available at box offices or online for $15.

Changes gives an intimate portrayal of life on tour with Godsmack throughout the band’s 2003-2004 “Faceless” Tour. Shot by Daniel E. Catullo III and Andrew MacNaughtan with 14 cameras in High Definition, 16:9 format, Changes lets audiences experience the rigors of being on the road and traveling from city to city to perform music for tens of thousands of die-hard fans. The film features in-depth interviews with all four band members, behind-the-scenes material, and over an hour of live performance footage including the hit songs “Straight Out Of Line,” “Voodoo,” “Awake,” “Moon Baby,” “I Stand Alone,” “Faceless,” “Keep Away,” “Bad Religion,” “Whatever,” “Re-Align,” “Changes” and “Serenity.”

Godsmack has gone from being an unknown Boston band to become one of the most popular and widely acclaimed hard rock acts in the United States, with a fan-base in the millions. Since 1998, the band has sold over 7 million records (including their “Faceless” album, which debuted at #1 in 2003), released 11 Top Ten singles and garnered 3 Grammy nominations. Changes is just a small part of their story; the latest in a string of accomplishments that have earned them the reputation “Hard as nails and cranked to eleven!”

The newly released Changes DVD will be available in stores on Tuesday, September 14th.  More information about Changes is available at www.changesthemovie.com and
www.godsmack.com.
