The high drama included an exchange where the witness blasted Jackson with the following testimony, "How foolish I was that I thought he didn't drink," she said. "Now I know that Neverland is all about booze, pornography and sex with boys."
Jackson reportedly shook his head at the accusation as he sat behind the defense table, and the judge ordered the remarks be removed from the record.
The judge lost his patience with the heated exchanges between the witness and Mesereau at one point and threatened, "Do you want me to shut this trial down this afternoon?" the judge said. "Let's start taking this seriously."
Mesereau did force the witness to admit to having lied under oath during a 1990 civil suit against J.C. Penney where she claimed to have been sexually assaulted by security guards. The suit was settled for $152,000.
The defense also questioned her about not calling the police during the time she alleged to being held against her will by Jackson's employees, she admitted that she did not contact authorities despite having a close friendship with a LAPD officer.
Mesereau further tried to challenge her credibility by accusing her of planning a civil suit against Jackson if the pop singer is convicted.
"We will never file a claim against Mr. Jackson. I want justice here," she responded.
