(Epic) Epic Records announces the release of Augustana's debut album, ALL THE STARS AND BOULEVARDS,on September 6th. Praised by the San Francisco Examiner for its "lush indie-swoon" and "emotionally charged musings," the album's first single "Stars and Boulevards" was the #6 most requested song in its first week at LA's world famous KROQ-FM, where it was added early into rotation. The band recently wrapped up a successful inaugural tour across the US and Canada with Stereophonics followed by an opening slot with Embrace. Next, they will head out with Seattle's Acceptance in mid-August through October.
Though their debut disc doesn't arrive in stores until this September, fans can snag copies at the band's live shows and on their official site, www.augustanamusic.com. In addition, three full-length tracks-"Boston," "Bullets" and stunning lead single "Stars And Boulevards" -are available for download from iTunes and select music sites.
ALL THE STARS AND BOULEVARDS was produced by Brendan O'Brien (Neil Young, Rage Against The Machine, Wallflowers) at his Southern Tracks studio in Atlanta.
