To complement SLIPKNOT'S intense live experience, they have selected two in-demand acts to open their shows. San Diego's As I Lay Dying come aboard directly after Ozzfest 2005 in support of their critically acclaimed album. Shadows Are Security, which just hit a record breaking 110,000 (Metal Blade June 14th); along with Ozzfest alums, Unearth who kick their touring into high gear on the FINAL VOLUME outing showcasing music from their punishing album The Oncoming Storm.

Trevor Phipps Unearth vocalist is honored to play on the bill, "Slipknot is the biggest band in the world today playing music as heavy as they do and that needs to be recognized and admired. When we toured with them on Ozzfest and this past winters' cross Canadian run, I was blown away by how dedicated their fans were. I honestly have not seen that many people act that way at a metal show since the Pantera days. Something also needs to be said about the bands they keep taking out on tour with them, from Lamb of God, Shadows Fall, Killswitch Engage and now us and As I Lay Dying, these guys know what real music is and are helping the masses know what good metal sounds like and not what major labels and radio try to sell us all. This tour is going to rip, period."
