(Harper PR) Grammy Award-winning Nashville-based singer/songwriter Lari White, best known for her chart-topping string of 90's country hits, makes a sharp turn with the July 26, 2005 release of GREEN EYED SOUL, a truly amazing collection of soulful songs, including the first single, the gospel-blues tune "Right Here, Right Now" and the funky "Let's Keep It Together." GREEN EYED SOUL marks the debut release from her Sony/RED distributed record label Skinny WhiteGirl.Released to rave UK reviews in June, 2004, the album reflects Lari's lifelong R&B and gospel influences. She set forth in the studio to reach inside herself and what tumbled out was a sweet blend of soul, Southern Americana and jazz that she calls GREEN EYED SOUL. Here, she blends classic soul and R&B sensibilities with modern technology to tackle subjects such as love and the loss of innocence, conjuring up heady images of languorous, sultry Southern nights.
