The Tom Petty & the Heartbreakers tour which kicked off in Fort Myers earlier this week, is shaping up to be one of the summer's hottest. Two shows in Berkeley set for late August sold out 18,000 tickets in less than six hours; Boston's Tweeter Center went clean in one day with more than 19,000 tickets sold, and the second show has already sold 14,000 tickets; Philadelphia is also clean with 24,000 tickets sold; 14,000 gone in Detroit, more than 20,000 for the Milwaukee date have been sold, Chicago has sold more than 21,000, and 13,000 are already gone in New York.
