.
(antiMUSIC) Alanis Morissette plans to celebrate
the 10th anniversary of her runaway hit album "Jagged Little Pill" in a
special way. Alanis will once again team with Glen Ballard to produce
an acoustic version of the hit album and will take her unplugged show on
the road.
The acoustic remake will also be the focus
of a special Starbuck's coffee promotion. The album will be available to
fans at Starbucks stores on June 16th, a full six weeks before it's available
anywhere else.
Alanis will recreate "Jagged Little Pill"
in it's entirety with the same running order, including the hidden track
"Your House," according to liveDaily.
"Jagged Little Pill" was the biggest selling
album of the 90s. To date it has sold 14 million copies in the U.S. which
bumped its world wide sales to over 30 million.
The acoustic tour is expected to take place
in early summer. Dates to be announced.
