(Epic) After a much needed vacation from the road, Epic Records' Modest Mouse will set out on a summer tour across the US and Canada. Beginning on May 25th at Vancouver's Queen Elizabeth Theatre, the band will headline shows throughout the month of June supported by Camper Van Beethoven, including at sold-out stop at New York's Central Park SummerStage. Modest Mouse will also join the line-up of Seattle's Sasquatch Festival and Nashville's Bonnaroo Music Festival.

Modest Mouse's breakthrough album Good News For People Who Love Bad News, certified platinum in August of 2004, has gone on to sell over 1.3 million copies in the US alone. The album was nominated for two Grammy Awards for "Best Alternative Album" and "Best Rock Song" for "Float On," and was critically acclaimed across the board.
