(Press Release) The Atomic Bitchwax have toured a month in Europe and another in the US and Canada this year, not to mention a quartet of shows opening for Ween side-band Moistboyz on a personal invite. But MeteorCity's hardest-working band aren't done with 2005 by a long shot, as they hit the road today for another North American run in support of their latest album, "3." The month-long outing will take them up through New England into Canada, down the US West Coast and back through the Southwest and South towards D.C., and will see Bitchwax sharing bills with the likes of Early Man, The Bellrays and Kylesa.The tour also includes a stop in Seattle to record a new EP, "Boxriff," with quasi-legendary grunge/punk guru Jack Endino (Nirvana, Zeke) at the helm. "Boxriff" is due for release in early 2006, and will be packaged with a DVD documentary containing excerpts from live shows on this tour, studio footage, and other shots of band activity (or lethargy) as befits a hard-touring band on the road.
