(PR) Victory Records announces the signing of Connecticut/Queens, NY's EMMURE, whose goal according to guitarist Jesse Ketive is simple: "We're looking to be the heaviest, most emotionally moving band out there." The band, whose members hail from Queens NY, and Fairfield, CT, hooked up through the Internet three years ago. Since then, they've been writing their own songs and touring DIY relentlessly. They will enter the studio to record their debut Victory full-length in early winter. When asked why the band chose Victory, Jesse says, "Obviously, we know that Victory is the best independent rock label out there. It only made sense to go to the best team. We trust Victory and feel together we can really make the most of it."
