(PR) Rock powerhouse Black Stone Cherry is one of four finalists competing in the December/January installment of Yahoo! Music’s “Who’s Next?” contest. Anyone can vote for free by going to the Yahoo! Music's "Who's Next?" page. The winner will be announced in January, and will be invited to record an exclusive live session and interview Yahoo’s LA studios, to be aired at the same web address above over the course of the following month.

A young band made up of Kentucky natives Chris Robertson (guitars/lead vocals), Ben Wells (guitars/backing vocals), Jon Lawhon (bass/backing vocals) and John Fred Young (drums/backing vocals), Black Stone Cherry is currently touring the U.S. as direct support to labelmate Zakk Wylde’s band, Black Label Society. At the conclusion of the tour in Los Angeles on December 8th, the band is set to pick up a tour with Hinder beginning December 13th, continuing their ongoing life on the road. Since its early July release, Black Stone Cherry’s self-titled Roadrunner Records debut has hit the #12 spot on the Top Hard Rock Albums chart with the first single, “Lonely Train,” reaching #15 on the Active Rock chart.[see full story for more] - Click here for the Full Story
