(antiMusic) The sixth installment of America's favorite televised karaoke contest will kick off on August 8th. That's right American Idol will be holding auditions and if you ever watched the show and thought, "like oh my gawd I can like sing like totally like better then that loser!" and want your shot at fame and increasing RCA's fortune, then head on over to the Forum in Inglewood, Ca (the nice quiet suburb of Los Angeles) on August 8th to try your luck at being the next Clay Aiken or William Hung.
Don't worry you're little old head if that's too far to drive, more tryouts are scheduled in San Antonio, Texas; East Rutherford, N.J.; Birmingham, Ala.; Memphis, Tenn.; Minneapolis, Minn. and Seattle, Wash (see schedule below). The catch is you have to be between 16 and 28 (you can look 40 like Taylor Hicks) and be eligible to work in the U.S. that means no undocumented illegal migrant alien singers need apply.

Just a correction.
For all those older teenagers, the age limit is 16 - 28, not 26.
