(PR) Seattle's Nevermore are disappointed to announce that guitarist Steve Smyth will be unable to perform with the band on their upcoming four European festival dates. Recently diagnosed with end stage kidney failure, the result of a congenital birth defect. Commenting from the Atlanta airport on their way to Italy, the band's vocalist Warrel Dane said, "We are saddened by Steve's escalating condition. He is an active part of this band and our thoughts stay with him. We will be performing as a four-piece for these shows and will have Chris Broderick join us for the rest of our European schedule."

Jag Panzer guitarist Chris Broderick performed with the band on their three-week American tour with In Flames and Evergrey. Broderick, who first performed with the band in 2003, said, "My heart goes out to Steve Smyth and I wish him all the best. It's a dreadful situation, but I'm glad I can help out at this time."[see full story for dates] - Click here for the Full Story
