Korn Hospitalized

(antiMusic) Korn frontman Jonathan Davis was hospitalized in the U.K. for an unspecified illness. The band was in the UK to take part in the Download Festival. Instead of calling off Saturday's performance, the band called on a plethora of special guest singers to fill in for Davis including members of Slipknot, Devildriver, Trivium, Avenged Sevenfold, Skindred and 10 Years.

Because of Davis' illness, the band was forced to cancel Sunday's Download performance in Dublin and also cancelled Tuesday's concert in Amsterdam, their support group Hatebreed will play a headline set instead, according to MetalRage.com.

Another band scheduled to perform at Download was sidelined by injury, according to VirtualFestivals.com. Soilwork was forced to pull out of a performance on Sunday after their guitarist (Ola Frenning???) suffered a vascular spasm. Devildriver took the stage in their place.
