(antiMusic) Dark Tranquillity announced on Wednesday that they have enlisted Danish producer Tue Madsen (Mnemic, Cataract, Aborted) to helm their next studio album. The band had previously announced that they expect to begin recording in October for the untitled album. The album will be mixed at Madsen's Antfarm studio with recording taking place at various studios across Sweden. According to the band " Drums will be set to tape at the old Studio Fredman, while guitars, bass, vocals and electronics will be immortalized at Rogue music." They promise a rather eclectic album for fans. "The material we're working on covers the whole gamut from laid back acoustic sections to furious blastbeats, so you can all look forward to a diverse and challenging offering," they wrote last month on their website. As for the name game, they offered up this information" The album is as yet untitled, but some working titles (that may or may not change) are "Blind at heart", "The lesser faith", "InsignifiCunt" and "The plunge".
