(PR) In response to venues selling out for his very first acoustic tour, Columbia Records artist Pete Yorn is scheduling special free afternoon mini-concerts day-of-show at local independent record stores along his tour route.The set lists for Pete's in-store performances will uniquely vary from location to location. Each of Pete's in-store performances will be recorded for a limited edition souvenir CD series, "Live From...," to be sold exclusively at the local independent record store originally hosting the mini-concert.
Local independent record stores participating in Pete Yorn's mini-concert/CD recording series include Salzers (Santa Barbara, California, June 22); Fingerprints (Long Beach, California, June 23); Dimples (Sacramento, California, June 24); The Singing Dog (Columbus, Ohio, July 6); Newbury Comics (Boston, Massachusetts, July 12); Record and Tape Traders (Baltimore, Maryland, July 13); Electric Fetus (Minneapolis, Minnesota, July 22); Lou's (San Diego, California, August 1); and AKA (Philadelphia, Pennsylvania, August 11).
Pete will launch his free in-store mini-concert series at Rhino Records in Claremont, California on June 20.
