(antiMusic) Some bands are loners and some can't stand the idea of going it alone on the long hard road of touring. Aerosmith fits that last category and after sharing the stage with bands ranging from Cheap Trick to KISS in recent years, the band has decided they needed a bit more decadence for their next tour so they are teaming up with Motley Crue for a co-headlining run at North America this Fall dubbed the "Route Of All Evil Tour".
The dates have been announced and the debauchery will commence on September 14th in the rock mecca of Holmdel, NJ and conclude with a 'hanging chad' celebration on November 24th in W. Palm Beach, Florida. Tickets to the first few dates go on sale Saturday.

Saw Aerosmith on Rocks tour in 77 and Crue's Shout at the Devil Tour and US Festival, never cared much for them w/ their ballads/tunes burnt to a crisp on commercial radio. If they want my $$$ this time, drop the syrup and go balls out. Ideal Aero's set: Back in the Saddle Rats in the Cellar Train Kept a Rollin' Kings and Queens Mama Kin Lord of the Thighs Walkin' the Dog Toys in the Attic Come Together Chip Away the Stone Last Child Sick as a Dog encore: Sweet Emotion and a cover of Led Zeppelin's Nobody's Fault but Mine (never been done by them, but it would kick so much ass imo, (imagine Tyler on wicked harmonica solo). Crue's ideal set: Knock 'em Dead Live Wire Red Hot Hotter Than Hell Bastard Piece of your Action Too Young to Fall in Love Wild Side Helter Skelter Sick Love Song Take Me to the Top encore: Looks that Kill and a cover of Alice Cooper's "Billion Dollar Babies" (imagine Tommy on the drum part...insane) Howz that for a show???!!!!

Every time I think I've seen Aerosmith enough, they have another double bill that's too good to pass up. First, Kiss; then Cheap Trick; now Crue?!? Now if they would just quit playing that @#*%! "Don't Want to Miss a Thing" piece of crap.
