A True Motley Insider

06/27/06
.
(PR) Former Motley Crue frontman John Corabi has signed with the New York-based literary agency Fletcher Parry to shop his authorized autobiography for publication. The firm has repped books by Paul McCartney and Ali G among other entertainment personalities. The as-yet untitled autobiography, co-authored with biographer Jake Brown, is scheduled for release sometime in Summer of 2007, and features interviews with Tommy Lee, Tom Keifer, Bob Rock, Scott Humphrey, Bruce Kulick, Sass Jordan, and Eddie Kramer among others on their place in the life and times of John Corabi's career. In addition to his forthcoming autobiography, Corabi has also launched a new radio show at Rock.com. Finally, he will appear on a forthcoming Motley Crue Tribute album on the track 'Home Sweet Home' alongside Fred Coury of Cinderella in early 2007. - Click here for the Full Story

They call you
What do you think ?:

You lost all credibility with the "jealous" comment; the typical teenybopper response to criticism. Which usually comes from not being smart enough to understand sarcasm and/or the motivations behind it, but instead you have the simpleminded conclusion that it must be jealousy (something the simpleminded usually suffer from and project onto others because that's all they know). We have your comments and took them into account. We are not changing, so if you don't like how we choose to write, go somewhere else! We don't "wanna be" anything we are not and sorry you're just not important enough for us to even consider changing over. Sounds like you want a site with some wanna be intellectuals with room temp IQs that can parrot back a party line. Check your local university for that. It's rock n roll not literature! Run along on your quest, we hope you find it somewhere else. PS you should really learn the meaning of the word integrity before tossing it out and contradicting it. If we bowed to every pretentious jerk off that complained about our format or content, we would have no integrity. Also marketable often contradicts integrity (especially selling out to make more money. Home Sweet Home) and so does trying to be "with the times". Piss off now, we're done with you and your silly illogical and immature opinions. Your opinions have no meaning to us, they lack intellegence and sound reasoning, so don't bother trying to find where to submit them unless you enjoy making us laugh at you.

Actually I don't see a place to comment on the site in general which is what I was meaning to do.It actually had nothing to do with this particular article.I read many and just wanted to let the site know what I thought about their writing in general. However I don't really see your point on being dated if I were to be talking about Motley Crue. They had one of the top grossing tours in the world last year and are still considered to be one of the best live show bands out there today.Even a bestselling book in the last few years and a movie coming out in the near future proves that they are still a very marketable act.Obviously it is your comment that lacks IQ.I would be happy to challenge you to any kind of problem solving challenge such as an IQ test anytime if you got the balls? It is also quite obvious that you are a very ignorant person by your prejudice and untrue remarks about Canadians.Canadians happen to be some of the most educated and informed people in the world but then again a person of your ignorance would probably not know that. However I'am not Canadian.Ed, I thank you for your openness and integrity in trying to understand my points. If you could direct me to a place where it would be more appropriate for me to comment on the site in general which I was doing it would be greatly appreciated.I too do not enjoy the more corporate sites where they tend to lack real education and are often filled with fakes who know nothing about true art.I just want facts with good insights not a bunch of wanna be's slagging people they themselves are jealous of.I just want informed reporting with a little integrity which this site seems to greatly lack! Thanks!

Go easy on him; he may have read that headline as an insult of John. It wasn't at all. I actually know John, (he's an acquaintance) and he is one of the coolest cats in the biz and out of all the members of this group, I wouldn't take a dig at him, especially since he was on the best and most musically credible Motley record ever made. The headline means what it says "A True Motley Insider" which John is and that headline was used to differentiate it from an article on this same day about a book from another Motley insider that helped them out in their early days which was titled simple "A Motley Insider". That all being said, if you want "objective" news with no silly humor thrown in, you are better off looking to some corporate site that will give you the sterile-let's not upset the record labels because we need their ad dollars-politically correct news coverage you crave. We are what we are and we aren't changing. As for the Nikki jokes, they have run their course, but the Tommy bandwagon ones still have a little life left in them. (he keeps finding new ones to jump on) Finally, I too saw the irony of the "get with the times" comment, Not A Zero. It was good for a laugh. See he could write for us and produce silly jokes without even trying or meaning to! So again, go easy on him. He is just misunderstood, much like us.

Star needs a brain with more IQ. Where was the slagging? You involved with that book by the Motley errand boy who was with them before they were anybody? Talking about being dated and your commenting on a story about Motley Fricken Crue. Who cares? Get with the times! You're probably Canadian so I guess we can forgive you being behind the times. Didn't you just get Hip-Hop up there last year? I miss the old Nikki Sixx jokes, you should bring those back.

Your site needs better writers with objective views. The corny slaging and joking is so hip hop 90's.Get with the times!
