(PR) The legendary band The Who scored a triumphant return to the top of the music charts this week with their #7 debut on this week�s Billboard Top albums Chart with their first studio album in more than 24 years, Endless Wire. The Universal Republic release sold over 81,000 copies in its first week, a resounding public affirmation for the 21 song opus which is comprised all new tracks, as well as a 10-track mini-opera, �Wire & Glass.� The reinvigorated Who�s two remaining original members, guitarist/songwriter Pete Townshend and vocalist Roger Daltrey, are also finding themselves once again being hailed as rock standard bearers, with their first album of original material since 1982�s Its Hard drawing critical raves from around the globe
