. (PR) Scanners new music video for "Lowlife" has landed a slot on MTVu's The Freshmen, a program dedicated to letting viewers vote their favorite video into rotation on MTVu. "Lowlife" is competing against videos from Motion Man & KutMasta Kurt, Annie Stela, Black Jak, and Sierra Swan and is currently ranked in the top position. The video is for the band's latest single from their new album Violence is Golden, a stellar collection of new wave and punk influenced tracks that was released this summer on Dim Mak Records. MTVu is broadcast to 750 college campuses and to 7 million student viewers across the U.S. Voting closes on Friday, December 1st at noon EST.
