(antiMusic) For this week's 2&2 4Tuesday we speak with New Found Glory frontman Jordan Pundik about the band's brand new album 'Coming Home'.

2&2: What's the significance of the title Coming Home?

Jordan: The record was written while we were on the road. We've been touring for 10 years straight and everything is always written on the road. For this album, when we went into pre-production we did it differently and took two months to structure every song and lyrics instead of just having the music and finishing it up in the studio. So, all these songs began to represent being home and longing for that loved one. "Coming Home" is a name of a song on the record too and Chad called one day and said, how about Coming Home for the name of the album? We think that it is an amazing song and the name represents the comment thread of this record so it stuck.

2&2: Did you take any different approach to the writing and recording this time?

Jordan: As I mentioned above, we did take a different approach. Every time we write we only have two weeks for pre-production and then we have to record. A lot of times we feel rushed and lyrics and songs aren't even always completed when we are starting the recording. This time we took two months to live with the demos and make them the best that we could. By the time we recorded them, we knew how every song would be laid outthe lyrics everything. The entire record was thought out before we even laid one track down in the studio. [read the full interview at the full story link] - Click here for the Full Story
