(PR) Bif Naked captured Video of the Year honors for the groundbreaking "Let Down", directed by Peter Karroll, at the 2006 Western Canadian Music Awards, held at the Burton Cummings Theatre in Winnipeg on October 22. Along with that accolade, Bif Naked was also honored to be nominated for Outstanding Rock Recording for "Superbeautifulmonster". Bif Naked has earned her props as Canada's face of aggressive feminine rock. Long before Avril Lavigne and Metric, Bif Naked was bringing brutal beauty to the forefront, and now after facing off against The Bills, Veda Hille, The New Pornographers and Novillero, Bif Naked has again proved she is Canada's reigning queen of rock. Bif Naked is bound for several more successful endeavors, including her current role as the host of BodogFight, a mixed martial arts reality TV series being aired in over 40 million homes in America and soon to be offered to Canadian and European viewers. Episodes of the series can also be seen at www.bodogfight.com. Also, Bif will host Bodog Music's premier entertainment showcase and party at this year's CMJ in New York City on November 1.
