(PR) Claudio Sanchez, front man and visionary of prog rockers Coheed and Cambria, has completed his first solo album under the name The Prize Fighter Inferno.

The 12-song album, entitled "My Brother's Blood Machine," will be released this Halloween (Tuesday, October 31st) on upstate New York indie label Equal Vision Records. Original home to Coheed and Cambria albums "The Second Stage Turbine Blade" (2002), and "In Keeping Secrets of Silent Earth: 3" (2003), Equal Vision entered into a partnership with major label Columbia Records to release Coheed and Cambria's epic third full-length album, "Good Apollo, I'm Burning Star IV: Volume I: From Fear Through The Eyes of Madness" in the fall of 2005. In total, Coheed and Cambria have sold well over 1 million albums in their five year career.

"My Brother's Blood Machine" further develops and expands the concepts established in the Coheed and Cambria albums with such recurring themes as the McCloud Family and references to its missing children. The primary difference is that this album is being told from the point of view of a character known as "The Prize Fighter Inferno" a.k.a. Jesse from the story of Coheed and Cambria.
