(antiMusic) This week we have a real treat for you. One of the best songwriting bands of this generation, Collective Soul, is releasing their new album 'Afterwords' this week and we asked lead guitarist Joel Kosche to select his five favorite tracks from the CD and tell us a little bit about each one. (Ed checks in on a few tracks too!). Today Joel tells us about the song "Bearing Witness":I remember Ed writing this song a few years ago for a TV show that never made it to air. After watching the pilot episode I remember thinking that the song was actually better than the show. I love the lyric ".... but stars have only so many wishes though". You can pick up 'Afterwords' at Target stores and iTunes now , plus see them on The Tonight Show with Jay Leno on Friday (August 31). You can preview the entire CD
