Promoters said tickets for the initial gigs in London, Manchester, Glasgow and Belfast, which went on sale at 0900 GMT, sold out in less than two hours.
The dates are part of a European tour which starts in Paris in May and includes concerts in Germany, Finland and Sweden, amongst others. - more on this story
