(Cat8Dog) New Yorkers got a big stink on Monday as a mysterious stench enveloped parts of Manhattan and New Jersey starting at around 9:00 am. This set the fear of terror into the minds of many as buildings and schools were evacuated but officials say there is nothing to worry about. Mayor Michael R. Bloomberg assured his minions that they hadn't found anything wrong with the air and they had no indication that it was unsafe to breathe. "It may just be an unpleasant smell" and speculated that it may have come from a chemical leak, not a gas leak. The Feds discounted the fears of a terror attack. So where did the stench come from? New Jersey of course.
Official claim the smell came from somewhere between Secaucus and Jersey City. But they haven't nailed down the official source or at least released that info to the public. Maybe it was P.Diddy testing his new fragrance line? Or the stench came from Trump headquarters after the premier of Trump's Chumps a.k.a. The Apprentice LA. All we know right now is that New York and New Jersey stink. And that might not be news to most people.
However, over in Austin, Texas the residents got a similar scare Monday. The discovery of dozens of dead birds caused portions of downtown to be shutdown but officials haven't determined the cause but they have ruled out the likely suspects like bird-flu, gas leaks, etc. "We've have no information that leads us to believe that there is any threat," Michael McDonald, Austin assistant city manager for public safety, said during a news conference. "We are going to be conducting further analysis."
The Dallas Morning news reports "Early-morning passers-by said the birds first began acting strange -- wandering aimlessly in the street, attempting to fly and making crash landings -- and then dropped like flies."
