(DiR) We're celebrating the release of Evans Blue new CD, "THE PURSUIT BEGINS WHEN THIS portrayal OF LIFE ENDS," this week. We asked the band to pick their five favorite tracks from the CD and tell us a little bit about each one. We kick off with the song "Pursuit": The pursuit is a song that sums up the entire album. There is a lot of darkness and despair in the songs that preceded it but it is all about The Pursuit towards something better. It's about moving away from the negatives and starting to live life to the fullest. This song also indicates the starting point of the album that will follow it. We are always writing towards the future of the band.
