This summer Don Preston will set off on tour of Europe with his Akashic Ensemble, including a stop at the legendary, annual ZAPPANALE festival in Bad Doberan Germany. Having appeared there in the past with his Grande Mothers ensemble of fellow Zappa-alumni, Preston will bring his jazz-electronica-experimental trio to the stage in August of 2007. He will also make appearances in other European cities, including Vienna.
