(PR) Seymore Saves the World announces US tour dates in support of their new self-titled album released on Royalty, Etc. in April 2007. Fronted by pianist and lead singer, Scott Hefte, is backed by ex-Tapes 'N Tapes' bassist, Shawn Neary, and drummer, Michael McGregor. SSTW has already grabbed the attention of musical forecasters such as CMJ, Pitchfork, Stereogum, My Old Kentucky Blog, and the media in their hometown of Minneapolis. Diving deep into Scott Hefte's witty musical mind, "Seymore Saves the World" features 12 shrewd melodic witticisms and is a thorough dose of pop mastery. In August, SSTW will travel to Whitefish, Montana to record exclusive new songs for Snowghost Studios where Matmos and Dan Deacon have also recorded sessions. Nestled in the foot of the Rocky Mountains, this is where Stephen Malkmus and The Jicks have just wrapped their upcoming album at the studio.
