Peel Tour

05/30/07
.
(PR) Peel will set out in June on its first U.S. tour in support of its self-titled debut album. Drummer Alex Brown from the band Prom Night will be joining the band on drums for the tour. The record has had the press raving, and has been gaining the band comparisons to everyone from Pavement to the Yeah Yeah Yeahs. While flattering, these comparisons have left the members of Peel scratching their heads.

With classically trained pianist Allison Moore managing multiple keyboards, country music fan Dakota Smith giving Peel its twang, and lefty-ruling-right-handed-guitarist Josh Permenter in the mix, the members of the group like to think theyve set themselves apart.

Peel will make its way down south and back up the east coast, and will play three New York dates before returning back home to perform with The Liars and fellow Austin band The White Ghost Shivers.
