Bassist Severs Foot During Show

(Gigwise) SixNationState bassist John Maskell, who plays all of the band's live shows barefooted, suffered a horrific injury while onstage in London on Tuesday night.

During their album launch party at The Borderline, Maskell thought it would be a good idea to go crowd surfing. On his way back to the stage, he landed on a wine glass and suffered a 7inch laceration to his left foot.

Amazing he continued with the gig, performing their song 'Up & Down'. It was only when a nurse got up on the stage that an ambulance was called and he was whisked to St Thomas' hospital. - more on this story
