The concerts, calling for a solution to the Israeli-Palestinian conflict, were to be held simultaneously in Tel Aviv and the West Bank town of Jericho on 18 October (07). But security scares led to the Jericho gig being called off last week (ends12Oct07), followed by the cancellation of the Tel Aviv concert on Sunday (14Oct07).
Organiser Daniel Lubetzky says, "Extremist ideologists have threatened our participants in Jericho, and we felt it is our responsibility not to play with their lives."
