(Filter) Jim Fairchild, formerly of Grandaddy, is taking his new solo act All Smiles on the road. The 18 date tour will see Fairchild performing songs from his 2007 debut album release, Ten Readings of a Warning, which includes the handy work from a variety of guest artists such as Quasi's Janet Weiss and Great Northern's Solon Bixler. He will be performing acoustically, relying on only his voice and his guitar, and supporting David Bazan of Pedro The Lion. The tour begins October 24 and will have Fairchild and Bazan on the road through November. - dates
