(antiMusic) A few readers have written to us in the past and asked why we always make fun of the 2367+ awards shows that are put on each year. We want to put this to rest once and for all. The good folks at Billboard.biz provide a far better answer then we ever could. Here it is:Songwriter/producer Timbaland was named songwriter of the year at the 25th annual ASCAP Pop Music Awards. Timbaland earned this year's top pop accolade for his contributions to nine ASCAP award-winning songs, including "The Way I Are," "Give It to Me," "Say It Right" and "What Goes Around … Comes Around." - Who else won?
