(PR) Oakland based indie rock band Rogue Wave have their Spring and Summer planned out for them. The band is gearing up for a series of headlining tour dates that include 2 nights at Schuba's in Chicago, NYC's Irving Plaza, DC's 9:30 club and a performance at San Francisco's Fillmore Theatre.The band has also confirmed main support slots on both this summer's anticipated Death Cab for Cutie and Jack Johnson tours. Rogue will also be seen on the summer festival circuit with confirmed performances at Coachella, Bonnaroo, All Points West, Sasquatch and Lollapalooza.
"I can't wait to play with some of the nicest and most talented people I know and in some of the most beautiful venues in the country," front man Zach Rogue said about the band's summer schedule.
On the heels of their hit single "Lake Michigan", which was featured on a television campaign for Microsoft Zune, Rogue Wave is moving forward with a new single, "Chicago x 12," a song inspired by a terrible show in their favorite city. The video for the clip was recently shot by the Malloy's (White Stripes, The Shins) and features funnyman Bob Odenkirk.
